Mountain States Constructors, Inc. (EEOE) is currently looking for an Aggregate Crushing Production Manager for our New Mexico Market Area.  This position is responsible for the overall production of two permanent surface mine sites and crews as well as multiple portable crushing mine sites and crews.  This position is based out of Albuquerque, New Mexico and reports to Company Leadership.

Essential Functions

1. Ensure daily coordination between production and quality control.
2. Manage personnel to maximize plant efficiency and production.
3. Work closely with Quality Manager to ensure product quality exceeds customer expectations.
4. Ensure company safety rules are met as well as MSHA regulations.
5. Drive operational and safety performance through continuous improvement.
6. Recommend career development and training courses for all aggregate crushing employees.
7. Oversee the purchase of supplies and equipment to maintain crushing plant performance to minimize downtime.
8. Other duties as required.

Supervisory Responsibility

Responsible for up to 7 crushing foremen and their crews.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position.  This position may require long hours and include weekend work.

Travel

Travel throughout New Mexico will be required.

Must have a valid driver’s license.

Required Education and Experience

1. 10 or more years’ experience in aggregate production.
2. 5 or more years’ supervisory or management experience in aggregate production.
